Genaye Eshetu is a creative communicator based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She studied Language and literature for her bachelors and she did her Masters in Journalism and Communication. She has been working as a Communication Specialist and freelance photographer for various non-profit organization including UNESCO, WaterAid, British Council, Mckinsey, WomenKind among many others. Her photographic scope covers various styles and subjects. Genaye aspires to combine and use various communications means, especially media, which is the global language of this generation, for creative visual storytelling.
When she’s not writing about herself in the third person, Genaye likes to collect books, sometimes intentionally finds time to read them; to travel and find a perfect spot to see the sunset, find a cozy coffeshop or art gallery in new places and eat lots of chocolate.
