Genaye holds a Bachelor's degree in Language and Literature from Hawassa University and a Master's degree in Journalism and Communications from Addis Ababa University. As a professional fellow at the Maker Institute, she continues to expand her knowledge and skills, further honing her ability to use photography as a catalyst for positive change.
